Easter Seals Central Texas - Community and Housing Services Department offers a unique array of programs and services designed for one specific purpose: to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunity to participate fully and equally in every aspect of our society.
ESCT Community and Housing Services Department believes people with disabilities must be able to choose and control their own destinies. We provide information support and advocacy to assist people with disabilities and their families in their efforts to navigate through a complex system of services and supports toward independent, productive, and satisfying lives.
ESCT Community and Housing Services Department provides:
- Advocacy -- ESCT-CHS is respected at all levels of government as an effective and credible representative on disability matters
- Assistive Technology -- ESCT-CHS brings people and assistive technology together through training, technical assistance and services
- Housing Opportunities-- ESCT-CHS is proud to assist individuals with disabilities and their families in finding the right type of housing
- AmeriCorps Volunteer Initiatives -- ESCT-CHS is creating volunteer opportunities to bring resources to address the issues facing people with disabilities
